Self-portrait

This is my finished self-portrait. I decided to use pencil for this piece. I found it easier this way so that I could look in the mirror, and use a note pad to draw my face.

I began by drawing my eyes and then mapping out my features. Once I started to get the perspective right I realised that I had only just left enough room to fit in the rest of my head. Luckily I did not have to start agen, but should have been aware.

I am very pleased with this image, and I enjoyed drawing myself as a caricature. I think it looks like me, and I manage to hold my personality within it. 

Before starting my caricatures I drew out some human features, trying to get the feel for the style of my self-portrait.
